Minneapolis-St. Paul – Families are gearing up for the long weekend - thanks to the annual Education Minnesota Conference (MEA) - and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is prepared to greet them.

Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 22, Terminal 1-Lindbergh’s South Security Checkpoint at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport will partially close while new automated security equipment is installed.

Four self-service bag drops will open near Delta Air Lines’ ticketing counter at MSP’s Terminal 1-Lindbergh later this summer.

Beginning Saturday, June 17, the #54 Metro Transit bus route that serves Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) will stop on the upper east roadway in front of Terminal 1.

New passenger amenities were also part of the project, including a lactation room, a nursing mothers’ room and an indoor pet/service animal relief area, all of which are new to Terminal 2.
