Visual Paging

All audio pages made from the airport's Information and Paging Office are also available in text format on screens located throughout both terminals. At the time a page is made, customers will see it scrolling across the bottom of both the weather screens, near flight information displays and across the bottom of the digital baggage claim screens.

These same pages can also be viewed on history screens at all of the airport's information booths.

View airport paging messages.

To specifically request a page for someone who is deaf or hard of hearing, call the airport's Information and Paging Office at 612-726-5555. Or, if at the airport, dial 201 from any of the airport assistance phones located throughout the terminals. Please be prepared to spell the person's first and last name.

Questions about visual paging at MSP can be directed to the Information and Paging Office at 612-726-5555 or via email at MSPCustomerService@mspmac.org.

Hearing Loop Technology

Hearing loops send sound directly to the telecoil receiver in a person's hearing aid. The system eliminates most background noise and greatly improves understanding of speech and music.

At Terminal 1, travelers will find hearing loop technology throughout the departures hall and arrivals level including both the baggage claim and the international arrivals areas. For those looking to relax, this technology is also readily available in the See18 short film space. Several gate areas on Concourse G have also been equipped with this technology as we continue to expand the footprint of this program through new construction projects.

At Terminal 2, travelers will currently experience hearing loop technology between gates H11 - H14 with construction currently underway to make it available in gates H1 - H10.

Video Relay Interpreting

MSP offers a web-based and phone-based interpreting services at the majority of its information booths as well as at the Travelers Assistance main office.

Volunteers staff these booths from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day with the exception of some holidays.

Closed Captioning

Closed captioning is enabled on all our gates' television screens. Restaurants and shops with televisions also have closed captioning enabled.

Emergency Notifications

All emergency messages are paged visually on the weather screens, which are co-located with the flight information screens, as well as at all information booths. These messages include severe weather information and evacuations.
