Salary: $28.50-$34.00 per hour

Job Description:
LSG Sky Chefs is seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Operator/Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial facility maintenance and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
- Conduct inspections of facility equipment and systems to identify and address issues proactively.
- Operate and maintain boilers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical systems as needed.
- Assist in carpentry projects, including repairs, installations, and renovations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure facility operations run smoothly.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner, prioritizing urgent issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid Boilers License (required).
- Proven experience in commercial facility maintenance.
- Proficient in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; knowledge of refrigeration is a plus.
- Must own a set of basic tools required for maintenance tasks (required).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexible availability to work 8-10 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
