MSP recently wrapped up the week of the MEA school break, which saw a continuing recovery in passenger traffic.
From Sunday, Oct. 15 to Sunday, Oct. 22, the TSA screened 325,364 people, which was 14 percent higher than the same period of 2022.
Thursday, Oct. 19, was also the busiest day in the history of Terminal 2, as the TSA screened 15,023 people.
MEA visitors this year were treated to a wide variety of entertainment options on the busy Thursday, with a surprise-and-delight station on the Terminal 1 mall that featured face painting and balloon artists. Airport Foundation MSP brightened the mall with music and brought in Paul Bunyan (pictured) for photo opportunities with passengers.
MSP is already gearing up for the Thanksgiving and the December holidays that are right around the corner. We hope to see you again soon!
