Airport Information and Paging

Every day, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., live operators at MSP offer airport guests and travelers voice and visual paging services, airport information, directions, and other assistance. Help is just a phone call away. To contact the Information and Paging office, pick up one of the black airport assistance phones located throughout both terminals, or call the general information line at 612-726-5555 from any phone. 

Armed Forces Service Center

Located on the Mezzanine Level at Terminal 1-Lindbergh, above Door 1 of the Ticketing Lobby, the Armed Forces Service Center is an "all free" stop for traveling members of the U.S. Armed Forces, Reservists, National Guard, Medal of Honor recipients, Purple Heart recipients, and their dependents. The center also serves active-duty Department of Defense employees, U.S. Public Health Service personnel, and currently, members of allied nations in a travel status.

A dedicated volunteer staff operates the Armed Forces Service Center around the clock, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

The Armed Forces Service Center is unique to Minnesota. It is not affiliated with the USO or with the Metropolitan Airports Commission, which owns and operates Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Rather, the one-of a-kind, non-profit facility relies on various veterans organizations and their auxiliaries, private businesses and individuals for funding.

Passenger Assistance Desk

An information desk on Level T at Terminal 1-Lindbergh is staffed seven days a week, 6 a.m. to midnight. Passenger Service Assistants provide information, directions, and other assistance to passengers and visitors.

Travelers Assistance Program

Travelers Assistance, a program of the non-profit organization Airport Foundation MSP, is one of the airport's most visible resources for travelers and airport visitors. Information booths, located strategically throughout Terminal 1-Lindbergh are staffed by hundreds of volunteers dedicated to providing quality information and services to thousands of travelers every day. 

In addition to providing airport, airline and tourism information, Travelers Assistance offers:

  • American Sign Language interpreting services
  • interpreter services for international travelers
  • special help for individuals who are elderly or disabled
  • a comfortable waiting area for people with special needs
  • infant supplies in times of emergency

The central office is located near the entrance to Concourse D at the Lindbergh Terminal and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Holiday hours vary.
