MSP partners with Pentair to elevate sustainable water solutions

Our Partnership

Pentair and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) are on a mission to bring refreshing, high-quality drinking water to the 34.7 million travelers passing through Terminals 1 and 2 each year.

As the Official Water Sponsor of MSP, Pentair is installing 10 HOPE Hydration (HOPE) water refill stations. These stations, featuring filtration technology by Everpure from Pentair Water Solutions, offer travelers a convenient and eco-friendly alternative to single-use plastic bottles, completely free of charge.

The next time you travel, don’t forget to bring your reusable water bottle!

Passenger refilling water bottle

Did you know?

  • Water bottle refill stations at MSP eliminate approximately 600 pounds* of single-use plastic bottles every day. That's roughly 110 tons annually, equivalent to the weight of a Boeing 757-200 airliner!

  • Reusable water bottles achieve a lower carbon footprint than single-use plastic bottles after only 10 – 20 uses**. A traveler using a 24 oz bottle to achieve their daily water intake can reduce the environmental impact per serving to less than a disposable bottle within a week.

Why refill your bottle at a new HOPE Hydrostation?

The HOPE HydroStations at MSP offer travelers free, chilled, and filtered water while having an interactive experience. Each HOPE Hydrostation tracks real-time data showcasing plastic and carbon emissions savings on the web and each HydroStation.

Fill your reusable water bottle and watch the HydroStation to see how you’re helping eliminate single-use plastics!
