March brings spring fever and NCAA bracketology to MSP
MSP Airport is getting a triple dose of excitement this March, with our regular spring break traffic plus passengers on their way to both the men’s and women’s Big Ten Conference basketball tournaments in downtown Minneapolis.
The women’s tournament ran March 6 to March 10, and the men’s tournament is this week. Look for banners and digital signage in the terminals, including large wall brackets, and some special performances from Arts@MSP.
Also watch for surprise and delight experiences, including balloon artists and face painters, and some giveaways. Airport staff will be at Terminal 2 on Friday, March 15, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and at Terminal 1 on Thursday, March 21, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
If you’re picking up travelers this month, remember to utilize MSP’s cell phone waiting lots, conveniently located on Post Road for easy access to both terminals. Find full information here to coordinate with your passengers.
And if you’re parking at MSP, don’t forget you have the option to prebook your parking and have a spot waiting for you when you arrive.
